They are planning on opening the closure at Beardstown where shoaling was taking place. On a conference call they were asking people to remain as far left descending as possible down by Grape Island. with the rise in river (+3′ now over normal pool) they are not asking for any restrictions in tow size. They will broadcast when they open. This will be one way traffic, as industry moves, mariners will manage the queue and NB will clear queue first, only ask is to let USCG know when you clear the area. 

Apparently they will still be digging in the area while traffic is moving. MV Lasalle 82 working channel, 13, 14 will monitor. SB may want to request them to move for more width. However, if they almost have a barge full, they may ask for Traffic to pause or hold until finished.
